Resources for this quarters TechNet Events

Free, World-Class Events for IT Professionals Some of you may know that Microsoft’s fiscal year, and therefore everything we plan and do for a year, starts July 1st.  So this is “Q1” and “H1” of fiscal year “FY08” at our company, and on our team

And you may also know that we plan and schedule our events and event content on a quarterly basis as well.  Our TechNet Events are now in “Q1”.

My first Q1 event is later this week, in Indianapolis, IN, so I’ve finally gotten around to building my TechNet Events “Skill Builder” resource page to hand out at my events, and to make available electronically on my blog HERE.

“When and where will YOU be, Kevin?”

This quarter I am presenting on the following dates and at these locations:

August 30, 2007 – Indianapolis

September 20, 2007 – Minneapolis

September 25, 2007 – Des Moines

September 27, 2007 – Omaha

“What are you guys covering this quarter?”

We’re talking about Infrastructure management using Forefront, System Center (Ops Manager 2007, Configuration Manager 2007, and Essentials), as well as a discussion of Networking improvements in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.

Check out the TechNet Events site (www.technetevents.com) for the details, and for dates and locations of all of our events all around the U.S.

  1. Just a note – the Minneapolis event is September 20, not September 9 as listed.
If I’m in town and not at a client, I’ll definitely be there!
To all who don’t know – Kevin’s event are not to be missed, if you’re an IT person in the Microsoft space.  (No, I wasn’t paid to say that.  If I were, I’d like small, unmarked, non-sequential bills, please)

  2. Ooops!  Right you are, D.  I’ve corrected the post now.  Thanks for catching that!
Not sure what I was thinking.  On September 9 I’ll be on a plane for Ft. Lauderdale.
(No.. not vacation.  I am leading a 2-day OCS training course down there.)

  3. Oooo…. you’re leading some OCS training?  Very nice!
If anyone is wondering, my name is Dave Reller, I’m the co-president of the MN Exchange User Group (www.mneug.org).  We’re soon going to be the MN Unified Communications User Group (www.mnucug.com… when it’s active).  And yes, my mind is churning about the possibility of having Kevin present at a meeting in the next 3-6 months. 🙂
