Internet Explorer 8: You want it faster? How’s this?

Awesome.  The IE team put up a “performance testing” video showing tests they did comparing IE8 and other well-loved browsers.

NOTE: We don’t win every scenario.  I think this is a good, honest video.  While we do come out on top for page load speed on more of the top 25 web sites than Firefox 3.5 or Chrome 1.0, it seems to me that the main points are:

“IE8 is way fast, just like the other guys.”

and

“There’s more to a browser than just speed.”
