Dear TechEd Diary,
After breakfast at the hotel with some teammates (it’s nice to know someone with access to the concierge room), the morning was spent editing videos from the previous two days. Hopefully by the time you’re reading this you’ve already enjoyed the footage and embarrassments documented therein.
This afternoon I attended some more excellent virtualization sessions. The first one was a really good summary of what Microsoft is bringing to VDI, delivered expertly by Michael Kleef. The second was Rand Morimoto talking about his experiences with Hyper-V in Windows Server 2008 R2 and using System Center. And finally I listened to Taylor Brown and Vijay Tewari talking about networking and deployment considerations for Hyper-V.
The evening found me at the Aquarium for the Microsoft Influencer party and the House of Blues for the Jam Session party.
